While February may be quieter in general across Europe, this is not the case in Venice! During February, the Italian city is buzzing with activity as it hosts the famous Carnival of Venice. Seeking snow and winter activities in February? Switzerland is the place to be! December, February and March are prime months in this part of Europe for winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding. Charming ski resort towns are busy as this is the best time of the year to hit the slopes. Enjoy a day outdoors and warm up with Swiss fondue next to a roaring fire in the evenings!
